FAQ's about aneufit

I AM ACTIVE AND WORK OUT NOW, DO I NEED THIS?
Yes, our program is designed to be a supplement to your fitness routine. Everyday movements and traditional exercise do not challenge your body to its full capacity and range of motion but aneufit will.

WHY aneufit?
aneufit will help you to regain lost movement abilities and build overall physical preparedness. Your body was designed to move in a wide range of directions and motions.

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?
We work with you to understand your goals and your story. From there together we can determine the length of programming. Research shows that consistent exercise has the greatest benefit especially when learning new movements.

WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT?
Aging can affect every sensory system in the body. Our program is designed to improve the systems that decline with age. We do this through education and specialized movement sequencing. Our program incorporates balance, proprioception, groundwork, cognitive training, strength, locomotion, and reaction time. Movements are designed to allow your body to gain the biggest impact and build necessary skills over time.  How we program is based on your goals. We guide from the side meaning we give you the tools to understand all of this so you can find a sustainable path to longevity. We settle for nothing but the best.

WHO IS THIS PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR?
This program is designed for anyone who wants to move better. The criteria to get started is an assessment. Our in-depth assessments help us understand where you are and how we can develop a program together. Our goal is fitness that is well suited to shore up your body's vulnerabilities and meet your goals.

CAN ADULTS, WHO LIVE IN AN INSTITUTION (INDEPENDENT or ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITIES) DO THIS?
aneufit focuses on wellness for those living completly independent (outside of an institution). Through our Groundations Wellness Programs we can accomodate institutionalized settings. Send an email to groundationswellness@gmail.com for more info.

WHEN YOU RUN GROUPS HOW LONG ARE THEY? ARE ALL THE SAME?
NO, programs are designed specifically for each group. The skill level and endurance of members define what your program looks like. Similar skill levels are placed together. Repetition, sequencing of movements, and complexity of movement all may vary.

YOUR PROGRAM IS EXPENSIVE. WHY?
Our trainers are specialzied not only in training but in a clinical framework to help you achieve your goals with efficacy behind you. We invest in people so they can invest in you.

Training Can Feel Expensive. Determine what quality of life is worth to you.

  • It costs an average of $50,500/ patient in direct medical costs from a hip fracture. More than 95% of hip fractures are caused by falling and falling is the leading cause of fatal energy. This cost calculated over 10 years breaks down to $420.90/month.
  •
  • Insufficient physical activity is the 4th leading risk factor for mortality.
  •
  • "We often confuse the effects of inactivity with the ageing process itself, and believe certain diseases are purely the result of getting older.

At 75 years, strength is lost at a rate of 3-4% per year in men and 2.5-3% in women.

Essentially, everyone has two ages: a chronological age, how old the calendar says you are, and a phenotypic or biological age, basically the age at which your body functions as it compares to average fitness or health levels.
