Hi, my name is Jennifer; I am a co-founder of aneufit. I graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from Uvm. I worked as an engineer for several years, and everything from heavy movable structures such as bridges to desalination systems and eventually consumer products.
My passion has always been in innovating. In the background of all my work, I spent a lot of time with my grandparents. They were my best friends, and they raised me. When they hit their 90s, I started to see a rapid decline. It made me sad and scared because they were my only family. Talking to doctors and clinicians made it feel like everyone wrote us off because they were old. Both of my grandparents passed away from what I now know were preventable falls. This experience in my life sparked an interest in figuring out what was behind the decline and dependence with age.
Over the last ten years, what I uncovered is what we have baked into aneufit. The missing links were found when I discovered Dr. Liebenson and was able to participate in a number of his programs and eventually the mentorship to uncover the fundamental problem behind why we decline. Dr. Libenson has distilled years of evidence-based research and learning from working with The Prague School of Rehabilitation, The Mckenzie Institut, combined with his knowledge of working with clients and his own approved study, into a framework.

We start with motivational interviewing to understand where harmful belief patterns may lie (these play a massive role in how you age, experience pain, recover, and reactivate). On top of that, we can use musculoskeletal guidance and evidence-based research to help guide exercises and trainable menus for each individual based on their story.
